Would they appreciate a proper courtship, or would flowers and fancy dinners make them uncomfortable? Perhaps you'd have better luck asking them out for coffee.

Take your best guess at what might work. You can always ask them whether you're on the right track.

HOW TO PLAY

01. Comment with your character.

02. Others suggest how somebody might win their heart. Specific suggestions are encouraged!

03. Base your advice on first impressions and IC conversation, not canon relationships.

04. Correct their assumptions, offer a few hints, or invite somebody to try their luck.

GUESS MY REGRET

Your character has three decisions to look back on. Which one would they take back if they had the chance?

The obvious disaster isn't necessarily the answer.

HOW TO PLAY

List three decisions from your character's past, along with their canon. Decide which one they regret most.
Other characters try to identify the regret. They can ask about the circumstances before guessing.
Give them the answer, with whatever explanation your character is willing to offer.

Most societies have certain mores that are unspoken rules; humanity itself even has such conventions, grilled subconsciously into our minds for our own safety. Don't go out alone at night. Avoid getting wet when it's cold. Don't pick fights with those stronger than you...okay, some of us missed the boat on the last one, but the point still stands. Society's rules tend to be more variable, though they apply to most aspects of life - including sex. In fact, bending the rules on what's considered acceptable in romance and sexual encounters can lead to anything from ostracization to death, depending on the time and culture.

Everyone knows the feeling of when you see someone and you know you've seen them before. Isn't that a part of déjà vu? But what if the connection you have with that person goes beyond the superficial recognition of familiarity? Perhaps you were connected once...in the most intimate of ways. Some religions and philosophies believe in reincarnation of souls, and it's said that souls could be reincarnated together - once again to follow out the same path they did before. Or maybe not. Maybe it could be a second chance for fixing things that went wrong before, like the a tragedy or circumstances keeping you apart. But can you take that chance? Do you even want to? WARRIOR/GUARDIAN AU MEME

In a world rife with war against monstrous fiends, there are those praised for their natural strength and healing abilities. Marked with a symbol which represents either a sword or shield, these individuals are further powered when contracted with those bearing the opposite symbol. Because of this, contracts are deemed mandatory once an individual turns eighteen years of age.

While contracted, Warriors (sword) and Guardians (shield) become sensitive to one another's emotional and physical states. The stronger the bond between them, the more power and abilities can be unlocked. While it's possible to form and break contracts at any given time, the result is a numb and draining sensation which takes time to recover from, making it in everyone's best interest to keep a lifelong contract. After all, the most legendary pairs are the ones who've been together for many years. And with monstrous armies constantly on the attack, the world needs all the help it can get.

Due to Warriors and Guardians being so vital to the city's survival, they are simultaneously treated as royalty by society and kept under close watch by the government. Powered individuals are assigned large and lavish living spaces within a closed community while Commoners, those who lack powers, are situated in surrounding mediocre homes. A vast shield around the city is among the greatest protection against monsters of the outside world, second to the combined power of brave Warrior and Guardian citizens.

But everything couldn't possibly run as smoothly as they do now without the help of Commoners. Everyone has an important role to play in the world. Which one have you been born into?

WOULD YOU KISS ME?

A perfectly straightforward question, provided nobody thinks too hard about the answer.

Your character doesn't have to know the person asking. They don't even have to like them. Somebody's curious enough to ask, though, and now they get to hear the answer.
