ワンピースカードで初めて「カードの発売日」を気にするようになった日の話
ワンピースカードを集め始めた頃は、カードの発売日をあまり気にしていませんでした。
新しいカードが出たら知る。
欲しいカードがあれば探す。
それくらいの感覚でした。
「このカードはいつ発売されたんだろう？」
そんなことを考えることも、ほとんどありませんでした。
ところが、ある日コレクションの中に少し前のカードを見つけました。
そのカードを眺めながら、
「これって、いつ頃発売されたカードなんだろう？」
と気になったのがきっかけでした。
調べてみると、自分がワンピースカードを始めるより前に発売されていたカードでした。
「こんなに前からあったんだ。」
そのことを知っただけなのに、カードを見る目が少し変わりました。
発売された時期を知ると、そのカードが作られた背景や当時のシリーズにも興味が湧いてきます。
「この頃はこんなカードが出ていたんだ。」
「このカードが発売された頃は、まだ自分はカードを集めていなかったな。」
そんなことを考えるのも楽しくなりました。
それからは、新しいカードを見つけるたびに発売日も気にするようになりました。
発売日を知っていると、そのカードがコレクションの中でどの時期に登場したものなのかが分かります。
そして、昔のカードと新しいカードを並べてみると、デザインやイラストの変化にも気づくようになりました。
カードそのものだけではなく、「いつ生まれたカードなのか」という視点が加わったことで、コレクションが少しずつ歴史のように見えてきました。
特に、自分がカードを始める前に発売されたカードを見ると、なんとなく特別な気持ちになります。
「自分が知らなかった頃から、このカードは存在していたんだ。」
そう考えると、一枚のカードに時間の流れまで感じるようになりました。
ワンピースカードを集めることは、単純にカードの枚数を増やすことだけではありません。
カードがいつ登場したのかを知ることで、そのカードとの距離が少し近くなるような気がします。
今では新しいカードが発表されると、イラストやレアリティだけではなく、発売日も確認するようになりました。
あの日、何気なく一枚のカードの発売時期を調べたことが、自分のコレクションを見る目を変えてくれました。
カードにはそれぞれ、登場した瞬間があります。
その時間まで含めてカードを楽しめるようになったことは、コレクターとして大きな変化でした。

The Day I Started Caring About the Release Dates of ONE PIECE Cards
When I first started collecting ONE PIECE Cards, I didn't pay much attention to release dates.
I simply noticed when new cards came out and looked for cards I wanted.
I rarely asked myself,
"When was this card released?"
Then one day, I came across an older card in my collection.
While looking at it, I suddenly became curious.
"When did this card actually come out?"
I looked it up and discovered that the card had been released before I even started collecting ONE PIECE Cards.
I remember thinking,
"This card has been around for that long?"
That small discovery changed the way I looked at it.
Once I knew when the card was released, I became interested in the set and the cards that were being released around the same time.
I started thinking about what the ONE PIECE Card Game was like during that period.
"What cards were people collecting back then?"
"I wasn't even collecting cards when this one was released."
Those thoughts made the hobby even more interesting.
After that, I started checking release dates whenever I discovered a new card.
Knowing when a card was released helped me understand where it belonged in the timeline of my collection.
When I placed older cards next to newer ones, I also started noticing changes in artwork, design, and the overall style of the cards.
My collection began to feel like more than a group of cards.
It started to feel like a small history of the ONE PIECE Card Game.
Older cards released before I started collecting felt especially interesting.
"They existed before I even knew I would become a collector."
Thinking about that gave those cards a special feeling.
Collecting ONE PIECE Cards isn't only about increasing the number of cards you own.

Now, whenever a new card is announced, I don't just look at the artwork or rarity.
I also check when it will be released.
That one simple habit began with a single card that made me curious.
Every card has a moment when it first appeared.
