楽観

自己成就的予言(Self-fulfilling prophecy)というものがあるらしいです(1)。楽観的な期待が現実の結果を引き寄せる、つまり楽観は実現するということのようですね。ぐだぐだと不平を言ったり募らせたりするよりも、将来(例えば良い転職)を楽観して、いま目の前にあることに真摯に取り組もうよ、ということかもしれません。きっと誰かが応援してくれているかもしれないですしね。

Stay optimistic

There’s something called a self‑fulfilling prophecy (1). It suggests that optimistic expectations can actually help bring about positive outcomes — in other words, optimism can create its own reality.
Instead of getting stuck in complaints or letting frustration build up, maybe it’s better to stay hopeful about the future (like finding a better job) and focus sincerely on what’s right in front of me now. Someone out there might even be quietly cheering me on.
