信号待ちをしてたら新聞を渡された。


お！これは……！

しんぶん赤旗じゃあないかッ！


渡してくれた人にいろいろ聞きたかったのだけど、急ぎの用事があり、なにも聞けなかった。

とても残念。
時間があるときだったらよかったのにな。

わたしは無党派層ってやつだが、今、情報としてわたしの手元に来た。

偶然の遭遇だったが、とてもありがたかった。

なぜなら、わたしには知識がないので少しでも一次情報に触れたい気持ちがあるから。

もしまたどこかで遭遇したら話を聞いてみたいな。

I Got a Copy of Shimbun Akahata

While I was waiting at a traffic light, someone handed me a newspaper.

Oh! Could this be…?!

It’s Shimbun Akahata, isn’t it?!

I wanted to ask the person who gave it to me all sorts of questions, but I was in a hurry and did not have time to ask anything.

That was very disappointing.

I wish it had happened when I had more time.

I am what you would call an independent voter with no particular party affiliation, but now this newspaper has come into my hands as a source of information.

It was a completely unexpected encounter, and I was very grateful for it.

That is because I do not have much political knowledge yet, so I want to access as much firsthand information as possible.

If I happen to meet someone handing it out again, I would like to stop and talk with them.
