前職を休職して、色々な場所で多様な考え方に触れ、自分の本当にやりたいことを探す期間を設けました。その中で、たまたま直島に訪れたときに素敵な出会いに恵まれたことがここに来るきっかけになりました。直島は、お店や知り合いの家に行ったときに、全然知らない人でもすぐ仲良くなれる、そういうのがすごくいいなと思います。
将来的には、観光業で直島をはじめとした瀬戸内地域を盛り上げたいという想いがあります。どの地域にも人々が魂や想いを込めて頭してきたものがたくさんあります。
これらに光を当てることが観光の仕事ではできるし、ここに住まう人も立ち寄る人にも、それらに触れることで「豊かさ」を感じてもらえることができたら嬉しいです。

During my leave of absence from my previous job, I visited many different places. Then I happened to visit Naoshima, where I had a wonderful encounter that led me to come here.
What I like about Naoshima is that when I go to a store or to a friend's house, I can easily make friends with people if I don't know them. In the future, I would like to make Naoshima more vibrant through tourism. I would be happy if I could share the "richness" with both the islanders and the tourists.
