どのような世に、何に生まれたならば、仏法の大意を得、如来の本意を知ることができるのだろうか？

重罪に処される十悪が国中に充ち溢れ、賢者が失望して世を捨てる時は、山も川もすべて汚濁にまみれ、国も本来の国ではなくなる。

それゆえ、今は仏の教えも本来の仏の教えではなく、俗世間の法も本来の法ではない。

見るにつけ聞くにつけ、そればかり気にかかるが、しかし、それに心を留めて悩むのは執着であり、すべきことではない。

それゆえ、わたしにとって今が、死ぬのによい時である。

皆、覚えておいておくれ。死ぬことは、今日が終われば明日へ続くのと違いはなく、ひとつづきなのだ。

When and what should I be born to be in order to grasp the essence of Buddhist laws and to know the authenticity of Nyorai? 

When the felonies which deserve Ten Evils are rampant and disappointed wise men leave the world, all mountains and rivers will be stained with filth and our nation will be no longer what it should be. So will the current Buddhistic teachings be no longer the original teachings. The laws will not be laws.

Whenever I see and hear of the desolation, I am worried about that. However, it is an addiction to keep that in mind and be worried about that. I should not take such actions. 

Therefore, it is high time for me to die. 

Please remember, all of you. To die is not different from the fact today is connected to tomorrow. Life and death are one and the same.

When the ten major sins deserving of grave punishment overflow the land, and the wise are disappointed and abandon the world, all mountains and rivers become stained with defilement, and the nation is no longer what it once was.

Therefore, the Buddha's teachings now are no longer the original teachings, nor are the secular laws the true laws.

Whatever I see and hear, that alone troubles me; however, to dwell on it and worry is attachment, and must not be done.

Thus, now is a good time for me to die.
Remember this, everyone: To die is no different from how today leads to tomorrow; it is all one continuous whole.
