I Turn My Way of Being into Art

There’s something many people have yet to realize.
Recognition is not determined solely by how “good” the music is—
nor by numbers, skills, or follower counts.

There is something beyond words.
It is one’s way of being—
The axis of “what you believe in, and how you live it.”

Creating works.
Standing on stage.

At the root of all these acts lies a single question:
How do you choose to be?

It’s not about merely arranging sounds,
or just performing a live show,
or chasing after praise.

I turn my way of being—my daily existence—into art.

At some point, I began living beyond the boundaries of what people call “a music career.”
My daily life, thoughts, habits, and expressions—
everything became a kind of tuning of my own existence.
And gradually, the sound of my performance began to change.
So did the way people responded to it.

Social media, emails, conversations, writing, clothing, food, rhythm, distance, decisions—
Each one resonates like a delicate tone,
condensing into the moment I play a single note.

Rather than forcing things into form,
I face the world with a rhythm, aesthetic, and pace that belong to no one but me.
That attitude itself is reflected in sound, in the air, in visual expression.

Now, I feel the world resonating with me.
We Jazz Magazine, Fuji Rock, radio airplay, listeners across countries—
Perhaps they’re drawn not only to my music,
but to something deeper—my way of being.

There is indeed an unspoken axis of evaluation in this world.
And the force that truly moves people lies just beneath the surface of words.

but a testament to my existence as a human being.

That is why I continue to refine my way of being.
When I face the world with a tuned spirit,
it’s as if I am witnessing the entire process entering a cycle of harmony.
