I wasn’t seeking success, recognition, or definitive answers.
There was simply a quiet feeling—
a sense that this music already existed somewhere.
A kind of vibration.

My role was to bring it into this world.

That vision stayed quietly inside me.
All I carried was the sound, and trust in that sound.

And now, I find myself standing within the very vision I once imagined.

A few weeks after its release, something unexpected happened.
Fukushima was featured by Discogs as a
“Japanese spiritual jazz holy grail,”
ranking #8 on their global best-seller list.

Around the same time, @jazzandcoffee, a respected jazz curator,
described it as a “likely candidate for many 2025 year-end best lists.”

These weren’t achievements I was chasing.
Rather, they felt like proof that the vibration I had trusted
had quietly, but surely, reached distant hearts.
