89.Mother Teresa/Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu（マザー・テレサ（アグネサ・ゴンジャ・ボヤジ））。マザー・テレサ（本名；アグネサ・ゴンジャ・ボヤジ）は現在のマケドニア内のイスラム教やキリスト教正教会信者の多い地域で生まれた。彼女はアイルランドの女子修道院に入り、彼女の属したロレト修道女会は彼女をインドのコルカタに派遣する。彼女はそこの女学校の教師として働いた。1946年、彼女に転機が訪れた。彼女は神様からの「コロカタのスラムに住みそこで働く」というお告げを聞いたのだ。1950年、彼女は「神の愛の宣教者会」というカトリック修道会を作った。最初、現地の人たちは、彼女の行動はカトリックへの改宗を勧めるものではと懐疑的であったし、避妊を支持しなかったこと、コルカタを極貧の地と宣伝しているというような非難も浴びた。しかし、彼女らは、貧困に陥っている人たち尊厳のために働くという、文化や宗教を超えた活動を進めた。現在、神の愛の宣教者会は世界各地でホスピスやHIV感染者/エイズ患者のための家を運営している。1979年彼女は、一連の活動によって、ノーベル平和賞を受賞した。
