Fic-Rec!

'Consequentially Yours' by nyruserra
Furthermore I cannot resist but pimp a wonderful story I recently "discovered".
It's written by nyruserra, rated R and deals with one of my favourite (and far too underrepresented rarepairs) Oliver/Hermione. The characterization is thoughtful, three-dimensional and very believable, it has – in addition to the romantic sub-plot a real (and very exciting) plot, is filled with lots of details about the wonderful world of Harry Potter and impresses me with the pure skill of the author to drag you into a different world. In short, it impressed the hell out of me ;)

The author describes it as follows:
"The Ministry is in shambles and the Magical Community lives in fear of Voldemort's return; add the rising rate in Squib-births, a new Marriage Law and rampaging Dragons to the general problems, and Oliver Wood has to wonder –

Why in the world did Percy ever want to become the Minister for Magic?

Now he's struggling to deal with a Marriage Contract filed on a witch who is definitely not amused, a Wizard's Duel with trollish Gregory Goyle, confrontations with a fiery red-head - And that's not even mentioning what the Nifflers dragged in…

Not necessarily HBP compliant"

Speaking of Fic-Recs: If you know any good Oliver Wood or Theodore Nott-centred stories – let me know, ok? Especially if they're in combination with Hermione. Thanks :)
