Hello again, everyone. It's been close to four months since an update, but I figured it was time. Real life is no joke. Full-time job took over and I just hadn't found time until now. Anyway, since I said I would try to update more consistently, I will try to get the next chapter out sooner than later (also depends on my beta, who is going to be moving in a couple of weeks). Bottom line is, this fic is still alive, and is being actively written and edited carefully, so don't worry.

So, this community has been getting a slow amount of members, which is always nice!

I've had the luck of studying in China, so I've been reading the Chinese scanlations, which are up to chapter 85, and I just want to tell everyone that it's amazing. B-because, anything with Shibuya Aki can't be anything less than amazing, right? I won't write any spoilers, but if anyone's curious, just tell me! I'll white-out everything.

But that's not the point. The point is that it made me fall in love with Shibuya Aki again. So this is a post, to express my and, if you like his character, your love for the womanizer, Shibuya Aki.

Wow, so it's been a month since my last fic update...still trying to keep this community going!

While I've been trying to get the rest of the plot outlined, I've been having the already published chapters beta-ed for any errors. Aside from that, this chapter was pretty fun to write, and in the next few chapters, one of the major plot points will start to emerge. Also, for those of you reading, thanks again for your support! I'd like to know who your fave couples are and who you'd like to see enter in the plot! At this point, reader feedback and interaction will help me map out what routes I can take and will allow me to know what you guys would be interested in reading.

Okay, so I feel like I'm posting a lot here...I wish there was more of an influx of entries for this community! But aside from that, Chapter 3 of this fic is up. I hope I do the characters justice.

This particular chapter was quite long, about 6,000+ words, written in about 3 days. I feel like I've been sort of on an inspirational roll with this fic, having started it last week. ( Chapter 1: Idle Summer Days )

Volume 5 / 4-Koma Translations

...well, let's get started! First time translating anything, so bear with stiff grammar and some weird stuff. I'm using the Japanese way of last name first, then first name since I'm used to that. There are some things I'm not sure on, so correct me if I've made any mistakes!

New line is a new box or new speech bubble (joint ones don't count), -- is a new panel, // means new page, italics are those small handwritten text. Bold is the title of the 4-koma.

Something I should clear up about the kanji - the schools are literally east school, etc, but I'm using the furigana in the manga for them. There are multiple readings for each kanji in Japanese, and in the manga, for example, east, can be read as higashi and tou. I'll leave Higashi, since it's sort of a name, and make tou into east.

Open notepad and paste this on there, and just read it with http://tieba.baidu.com/p/672864116 I'm not comfortable with using already translated 'raws'. Direct me to Japanese raws and I'll whip out photoshop and put the text on it.

I'm not sure why, but schools in this area have middle schools and high schools built right next to each other. Even though it's not a private school.

Favorite....Everything!

So, in an attempt to pump some life into this community, I was hoping to put up a series of questions as to your favorite, well, everything! Who's your favorite character, couple, scene/moment, etc and why? Just all that fun stuff. It would be cool to see what everyone's reaction is. Predictions are also very much welcome! I want to know what you all think!

For starters, my favorite characters in order follow as:

1) Takaomi
     -My love for Takaomi stems from the fact that I love his hard-headed, tough-love personality. It works perfectly with the other characters, and hey! Who doesn't enjoy a delinquent teacher?

2) Mafuyu
   -It's Mafuyu, how can I not love this silly little girl? Seriously. She's probably one of my favorite heroins in manga. Ever. Just because she can pull off badass and adorable all at the same time.

3) Ayabe(n)
   -Dust man! His fake love of loner-ism was cute, but it was even cuter when Mafuyu finally broke it down. He's just flat out quirky.

4) Aki
   -He weak, he's feminine, and he's a womanizer, but golly, do I love him for all of that! It's nice having a character in the club that isn't good at fighting. Nope. He's simply their adorable make-up artist. It's good to finally have some characteristic variety.

5) Kenkawa
-His crush on Mafuyu totally won me over. Granted, I know pretty much every character has a crush on Mafuyu somehow, but come on! He is honest and terribly cute.

That's not to say that I don't like Hayasaka, Shinobu, Okegawa or any of the others, for instance. Quite frankly, I adore all of them to itty bitty pieces (which doesn't often happen in manga. I usually dislike at least one character).

As for favorite couples....well, that's a lot easier.

1) Takaomi/Mafuyu
   -Why? Well, I simply adore their chemistry. Many would disagree due to the fact that he's too rough, or he's too old, or that he's a teacher (which that last one, yeah, I do agree. Wait till she graduates at least), however, when it comes to his style of affection towards Mafuyu, well, plain and simple, that's just how he is. And hey, Mafuyu doesn't have too much of a problem with it. Lord knows she came crawling back as a child, lol. The age gap? Meh, nothing. As a young (but legal) lady that has been dating someone that is a whole ten years older (a wider gap then that of Mafuyu and Takaomi), I can easily say that age doesn't always matter. Think about it, when it comes to maturity, they're about the same level, lol.

2) Mafuyu/Kenkawa
   -It's just too cute, lol. Seriously. That's about it. xD

Favorite scene:

1) Shinobu dressed up as a tree. Let's face it, that was creepy and hilarious all at the same time. I can only imagine my reaction to finding someone dressed like that, lol.

When it comes to predictions....Well, I really don't have much. I don't think about it too much, either. I'm sure I'll be pleased with just about anything they toss my way (just about, lol).

Banchou Look-a-likes

So I got bored and noticed some possible lookalikes for Banchou. And possibly one for Takaomi...?

Well, actually this is a little bit more than just being lookalikes, but my reasoning is so simplistic that I'm just going to call them lookalikes.
First, I'm just going to say that Banchou resembles Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji. A little.

Okay so I'm going off of facial structure here. And shiny hair. Of course, they don't have the same hairstyles, but they do have more similarities. They can both catch messenger birds:

The owl and Torikichi obviously have different views on whether it's safe to land near dangerous, black-haired men.
But they're only dangerous unless caught off-guard...

Speaking of being off-guard, they both have a weakness for cats!

Okay, well, in the serious sense Sebastian and Banchou are not alike at all, but I just had to post something weird like this. I don't think Sebastian's a romantic, being a demon and all. Plus Banchou is too nice to be too similar to Sebastian. It was fun to compare them, at least.
Besides Sebastian I also looked into Claude (Kuroshitsuji 2) as a lookalike, based off his hairstyle.

They're both ~~a little~~ weird too. But again, Claude's too cruel.

I also thought about Kurogane from TRC, but the facial structures didn't match up as well.

Seriously, it depends on the angle how much Banchou and Kurogane lookalike. Personality-wise? They're both tough guys...that's pretty much it. But I have to say I could see Kurogane being a delinquent in high school. He was sort of a delinquent ninja before he was sent away at the beginning of the series. But he's not a romantic like Banchou is.

And just for fun, I found a semi-lookalike for Takaomi: Touya (TRC version).

They're both good at teasing. That counts, right?

And that concludes my completely random lookalike post. Maybe I'll find inspiration for other characters' look-a-likes from Oresama Teacher some other time. But most likely I won't. Be thankful. My reasoning is pretty shallow anyway. I get the feeling this post is just as random as the thought processes of Mafuyu, Hayasaka, or Banchou.
