k so here was my day. a day of bad school. then i went to *$$ with travis and brittany for a while. it was crazy cold but everyone had to depart soon. then i went to the school and jordyn was my model for my late assignment. the fucking worst thing happened. i haven't used my pentax in SO long that i had forgotten basic principals of photography? whaat? so lame. i had the shutter so fast thinking that it would give me more light. do not ask. just do not ask. i am so fucking lame. i had it the whole time on 1/1000 sec. and asa 3200 (or was it 1600?) anyway. it didn't work obviously. i processed my film like speed lightning and was expecting mega results because for the duration of the shoot i was pretty confident that it had all worked so well. what was i thinking? i am such a jerk. SUCH a jerk. damnit. i was going to bring my contax but i decided i needed to get familiar with a completely manual camera again. bad time to decide that. then afterwards i printed and it was fun. bonnie boochie and some other people in the photo 2 class. then i had work right afterwards. i made the mistake of telling my boss i'd come in early. then as i was about to end my shift travis invited me to come up to *$$ again. so i went and it was fun. i met more people. and we stayed there until closing. it was so chill. we played cranium.
and then okay most exciting part of my day. i was checking my e-mail and i got an e-mail from anthem magazine saying:
"Love your Contax work! We might want to do something with you in the future."
ahhhhhh! and then the klutz that i am accidentally deleted it. and it had contact information. so i sent them an e-mail back. hopefully they will reply. ahhhhh. i had a heart attack. i am so smitten. anthem is my favorite magazine. wow wow wow.
k and now i have nothing due tomorrow for class i am so thrilled. the upcoming 24 hours will be nirvana for me.
