you just keep me hanging on:
today was great. carefree for a change. sort of. last night i went to sleep so late and when i woke up i was late for tomoko's party. anyway, i went for just a little because i had driver's ed. so i stopped by and my 7th grade english teacher was there and i just hung out there for a while.
driver's ed sucked but thankfully it was my last classroom class (i hope my instructer overlooks the fact that i didn't turn in this one assignment that i should have done). all i have left is to do a few driving classes. i think my mom wants to apply for a hardship so i can get my license early (or else i would have to wait until november).
then i went home for a bit and natasha and i went to krista's party. there was a lot of finnish food including reindeer pâte. all of it was delicious and i ate 2 platefulls. we chilled there for a long time and sat outside on krista's back porch. then everyone was leaving and we told tomoko and koji to call us later. then natasha and i went to get gas and then went to her house.
we called tomoko and koji later because they hadn't called us yet and they said they were going to kim's so we met up at their house and all went together with adam.
we got at kim's and chilled in her living room for a while and talked about music and movies mostly. mostly music. it was fun. then we went outside to have some hotdogs and burgers. we stayed out there for the rest of the night and talked. then kim brought out her guitar and we had a little song-off/sing-along/campfire/acousticore/cover fest. it was really great. it ends up that we leave around a quarter past 2. then we took koji and tomoko home. then tasha took me home.
just talking was the best part. it felt like summer. it's a great feeling to know that you don't have to do anything important tomorrow, but when natasha dropped me off it was a little sad too that i know i don't have to do anything important tomorrow. i want this to happen every night. koji and kim are going back to seattle and santa barbara tomorrow, respectively. both going back to school. koji's coming back later in the month but kim's school is all year round. so i don't know if i will see her any time soon.
anyway, the end.
p.s. i got 4 rolls of color film back today. they are the shit. mostly times when we all went out in groups. i can't wait to scan them in.
