New Semi-interest....
Anyone watch the Hunger Games on the big screen?
Anyone read any of the books? I blame my sis-- she got me to watch it and then after watching it with her almost two weeks ago, i ripped through the 3 books, sacrificing sleep for them... they're really .... captivating yet angsty...(but the writing is geared for teenagers, i think and the use of first person is sometimes not that effective, i thought :p)
Anyone into this "fandom" or have read the books seen the latest movie that is breaking box office records? At this rate, they'll be another ridiculously successful franchise since they have like 3 more movies coming.
I've not felt so attached to another interest from the time i also really liked Narnia along with LotR.
So share your thoughts if you've watched the movies! I'm staying spoiler free as i write this so i can gauge your interest and if its' worth it for me to squee in here :P
.... I've also read some fanfic-- but they're not impressing me much. :P (still will stick to my OTF- LotR!!!!!) :)
