A deadline approaches
Well...it's October 19th...and ironically, I'm not worried about Halloween.
As much as I completely ADORE the holiday, I'm more worried about not meeting
my November 20th deadline for the art project. >_<
So, the idea for the Muse Project was to paint/sculpt/envision 9+1 of my women friends as the Muses of Greece (and Rome). The project came to me after I was had asked a dear friend how
to be a better artist. He said, "Sacrifice to the Muses". And I thought, what better way to make an art gesture, than to make an art project...and transform 10 wonderfully modern women into Goddesses. Well...it's a month away and I've only got half of them done. And this fills me with more dread than I can imagine. Let's just say if I can get three finished by the end of this week...that's a total of 6 done. Which leaves me with four left to do. One of the last photoshoots I've got to do is on Wednesday. The remaining four are one that needs redone...and two that need to be started (but I have an idea for)....and last but not least...my Muse of Comedy. My friend who is portraying the Muse of Comedy...the photos I took of her, well..they're funny and clever...and I have *no clue* what kind of project to do with them. ::sigh::
So yes....I've got technically seven pieces to complete and be ready one month from now...and somehow find time to do a little dvd piece that will be my artist's statement on the project...oh, and prepare for my Life Drawing mid-term this coming Saturday.
Omg...am I really complaining about art?!? If I could only just stay home till it's all finished. Besides, I'd rather be at home than here at work. >_<
