Rules and Guidelines for the Prompt Round
Rules for Participation:
* This is a low-pressure prompt-based round. Anyone can leave prompts, and anyone can claim one. If you leave a prompt, you are not required to claim one. If you sign up for a prompt, you will not be penalized for not posting it by the deadline. We encourage you to finish it anyway and post it to one of the Harry/Luna communities!
* This community will feature all ratings, from G to NC-17. Higher-rated posts will remain unlocked, so please use discretion and think before you click, particularly if you are too young to view sexually explicit materials in your state or country of residence. If you post a gift rated R or above, you must have an age statement visible on your profile saying that you are 18 years or older.
* This community does not tolerate homophobic, racist, sexist, or otherwise prejudiced ideals. Submissions promoting these values will be rejected or deleted, and members who promote these values in comments may be banned without warning. If you touch upon these issues in your submission, please use appropriate warnings.
How to Join
At this time, community membership is open, and all posts are unlocked and open to everyone. Posting is limited to members of the community, and all posts are moderated.
Rules for Posting:
* The prompt round will allow fics, art, fanmixes, or a combination of these mediums (i.e. fic with accompanying fanmix). Collaborations are encouraged! Other mediums are welcome, but please email the moderator first if your piece does not fall into one of those three categories.
* All fics and art must feature a relationship between Harry and Luna. Threesomes, moresomes, and love triangles are only appropriate if Harry and Luna are significantly involved with one another outside of the group. Gen fic, friendship fic, and implied relationship fics are very much allowed, but only if neither of them is involved in a romantic relationship. Crossovers are also fine, but only if requested and only if the other characters do not take over the fic. Please keep in mind that the focus of the fest is Harry/Luna and that their relationship should be the focus of your gift.
* Any characters engaging in sexual activity in the fics and artwork must be 16 or older. There are no exceptions to this rule. All headings must have disclaimers to this effect. Mentions of past sexual activity are acceptable as long as they are not explicit.
* Fics must have a minimum of 500 words; there is no maximum. Artwork must be original and previously unposted. It should not be part of or based on a previously posted series.
* Photo manips are allowed, but please do not feature the actors in sexual situations. Rule of thumb: if the actor would be uncomfortable stumbling across it, please don't post it here.
* All fics must be beta read before submission.
* I will be checking to make sure that your post utilizes the correct header template, that the body of your submission is behind a cut, that you have included appropriate warnings in your header, and that your post is formatted correctly. If your post does not meet these requirements, I will reject the submission and send you a message explaining why. You are encouraged to resubmit! The only reason I will be moderating submissions at all is that I would like to make sure that all submissions posted to the community are easy to read/view and that they follow the rules. Rules for General Participation:
* Rudeness will not be tolerated. Constructive criticism is fine, but flames are not appropriate. Anyone who breaks this rule may be banned without notice.

Tentative Schedule
Prompt Post: Open July 8th - August 1st
At this post, you may leave prompts for fic, art, fanmixes, and more. You may leave as many prompts as you want, whether you intend to claim one yourself or not.
Claiming Post: Open August 2nd until November 30th
At this post, all prompts will be listed and you may claim prompts for yourself. Participants are limited to two prompts at a time until they have completed and posted their previous prompts. There is no limit to how many people may claim the same prompt.
Posting: August 3rd until November 30th
On August 1st, I will give all members of the community posting access. Posting will be moderated, and submissions will be approved by me. I will only approve posts submitting fulfilled prompts. All other posts will be rejected.
I do not know when I will lock the community again, but I foresee leaving it open to new posts until shortly before the next round of the exchange.
I will be posting header templates and more specific posting guidelines when the claiming post goes up. In the meantime, if you have any questions, let me know!
