Daryl Easlea
Rare Record Price Guide Editor
Author, broadcaster, DJ and editor Daryl Easlea is delighted to have a long association with Record Collector. It began as a reader in March 1986, issue 79 (featuring The Fall) and then, in October 2000 as editorial assistant and then deputy editor. After leaving in 2002, he returned to the mag in 2022 as Editor of the Rare Record Price Guide, as well as editing stand-alone specials on Genesis, The Fall and solo Beatles. He has also appeared in virtually every issue of the mag since 2000, and co presents the Needlepoint podcast with Paul Lester.
He does lots of other things as well – have a look at his archive on Rock’s Backpages . He lives on the Essex Riviera, where he actively avoids Niall Doherty.
