Happy birthday, big brother.

Happy birthday, JD~ You're turning into an old man. Pretty soon I'll be able to outrun you...

And dammit. So much studying for these EMS classes. Working on Rapid Trauma Assessments now and it's... so much info and so many steps and if you miss something, you fail. x____O

Speaking of trauma... That new show, Trauma? Yeah, it sucks. EPICALLY. I mean, in the first five minutes, they just... did so many things /wrong/ that I was wondering if it was intentional as a 'what not to do' kind of thing...

Sex in the ambulance: Possible. Going to get fired for it if you're caught, but possible.

Paramedic talking to the bystander on scene with the victim before even arriving: No. That would be dispatch's job. Not to mention that they suddenly arrive and got to the roof in a span of five minutes. Not out of breath.

Multiple paramedics on scene: Yeah right. Unless it's a mass casualty incident.

Helicopter: Really? For minor cases: No. High-rise building, maybe possible. But yeah... Still, no. I can only think of a handful of times where the helicopters around here get called out to something other than a transfer.

The characters: So full of fail and drama and just... ew.

Rabbit: I can't even BEGIN to list everything that's just... WRONG and STUPID about this guy. Any EMT henceforth calling themselves 'Rabbit' is to be tarred and feathered. I would refuse to work with this guy, let alone allowing him near other people. Just... everything he does is Wrong.

And this is just the first five minutes. Let's not even get into the rest of the damn thing.

Trauma is to Paramedics/EMTs what CSI is to Forensic Analysts. It's just That Bad.
