Check your bill against your contract.

For AI agents billed per outcome, starting with Fin: compare each invoice with your contract and the vendor’s own records, and see what differs and what to ask. It runs in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.

Sandbox: a fictional company and simulated traffic.

Run the sample for the renewal figures, the email to Fin and month two.

Three steps.

About five minutes once you have your invoice and Fin’s export. Getting the export can take longer: it may need an admin’s permission, and a large one comes by email.

  1. 01
    Start with Fin’s export

The checker reads how many resolutions Fin’s export records as confirmed by the customer.

  2. 02
    Add this month’s invoice

Its PDF, a CSV, or its lines typed. Then one question: whether you pay Fin’s published prices, or your order form’s own terms.

  3. 03
See what differs, and next month

What differs from your contract, with the email to Fin drafted. Next month, your record picks up what is still open.

Limits

  • It has read a real Fin export from our own Intercom workspace, but not yet a customer’s month, so yours may be among the first real ones it reads. Each result says what could not be checked.
  • It is not an audit, legal advice or accounting advice, and it does not dispute your invoice. The questions are yours to send or not.
  • ScopeBlind is not affiliated with Fin, Intercom, Salesforce or Zendesk. Fin, Intercom and Zendesk are trademarks of their owners.

The checker is free. Or have us see it through.

Assisted review. Your Fin bills reconciled, your questions prepared, and one case followed through. Three months, one contract, invoiced after delivery for the first three companies.

Before you start

What do I need from Intercom?

The invoice, as its PDF or a CSV. For the deeper checks, Fin’s Conversations export, from Reports, then Dataset export, then Conversations, as a CSV, which needs Intercom’s “Can access Chart drill-in” and “Can export CSV” permissions; and the “Fin AI Agent outcomes” total from Fin’s own report. Help shows where each one is.

What does Fin bill as a resolution?

A resolution the customer confirms, and one where Fin answers and the customer leaves without asking for more help. Fin also bills a procedure that hands off to your team. Ten of Fin’s billing rules set out each case in Fin’s or Intercom’s own words, with links.

Couldn’t we do this ourselves with ChatGPT?

You could try, but a hosted AI assistant would need Fin’s export, which can hold your customers’ names, emails and messages. The checker reads only conversation IDs, dates, states and tags, on your own computer. It applies Fin’s published rules as recorded on a stated date, does the arithmetic in code, and keeps a record from month to month, so the deductions Fin promises are followed into later invoices. The review is the part that takes a person.

Isn’t Fin’s own report enough?

It shows Fin’s count. The checker compares that count, the invoice and your contract with each other, and follows the deductions Fin’s rule promises across months, which no report shows.

What if it finds nothing?

Then you know your bill matches your contract as far as it could be checked, and you have your price per resolution Fin’s export records as confirmed by the customer, for renewal. The review’s fee is the same either way.

Which setups does it check?

Fin on Intercom, and Fin with another helpdesk such as Zendesk or Salesforce, from Fin’s own export. Fin in Zendesk can also be checked from Zendesk’s own ticket export, by the tags Fin puts on each ticket. For another AI agent, such as Zendesk’s own, Salesforce Agentforce or HubSpot, write to support@scopeblind.com: we will say what can be checked for it today.

Work between companies, checkable by both.

AI agents are starting to do the work one company pays another for, and today the count behind the bill is the seller’s alone. ScopeBlind builds checks for that work, which both sides can run on the same evidence: what was agreed, what was done, and what was billed. Checking Fin bills is the first.
