My Cat Woke Me Up

Charlie was running around and going nuts this morning. There were no lights except for the faint light of the tv, I swear I could see him go back and forth with something in his mouth. No biggie, I've seen him play with his pink mouse doll like that plenty of times. Only, Charlie never makes that much noise. I adjust the TV and watch Charlie place it on the ground near my bed. Yeah, it's a mouse. Oh look, it's still alive.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKK!

I started kicking my husband awake (it's the only way to do it). Do something, Peter.

Peter, still asleep, says, "oh, let the cat play with it."

The mouse starts to run away, but Charlie catches it again and goes and sits in my closet (ewwwww). I hear it's awful sqeaking. Now I really kick Peter hard and run into the living room. Thank God Pete actually got up and threw the mouse away. It was on the pants I had been wearing the day before. Yuck, now I've got to wash those pants in industrial strength bleach.

I gave Charlie some treats and praised my little mouse-killer. Peter is back in bed.

I think I might be up for a while.

I see the name Aviva listed for Huntington, she is a wonderful dancer, I've performed with her before. Sweet, talented, and a ball of energy! If you go to see her, mention your friend dances with Chadia.

Yay and Yuck

Yay! I rode my bike for 35 minutes today!

Yuck! when I got home, I inspected the closet where Charlie the Mouse Slayer had lain with his spoils, and found a little puddle of mouse blood.
