And now for an update which has taken quite a while, I know. So long, in fact, I'm afraid I've forgotten many of the interesting things I was going to write about. Dammit.
- The Disney trip was just what I needed. Wish I had gotten more souvenirs, but they had less to choose from than with Disney World in FL. I'm glad I got to go on the Indiana Jones ride three times, the Matterhorn 4 times, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride twice, and Storybook Land and Casey Jr.'s Train. They do not have these attractions in FL. I yodeled on the Matterhorn.
- One of my souvenirs is a beautiful beaded necklace with a picture of Elizabeth I on it. They didn't have Mary (why would they) but I'm still going to wear it proudly because it's pretty, and I'll definately flaunt it in Ann's (Elizabeth at NYRF) direction. Haha!
- Speaking of Mary, I was in a bookstore when I heard some guy mention Mary Queen of Scot's name. Sproing! I stopped in my tracks and stared, before I realized I was a. not improving, and shouldn't intrude on this man's conversation and b. normal people don't bust in on other's conversations just because they mention the name of the character you play. However, the man saw the alarmed look on my face and asked if my name was Mary. I told him my story. He happened to be reading aloud a book to his friend about the nature of Mary's death, and I filled them in on details not included. Then I scurried away, very embarrassed. D'oh.

Spent my weekend laid up with a cold, compliments of my Aunt Rosemary. It came on pretty quick, having spent time with her and the rest of my mom's family at my Uncle Jack's 50th Surprise Birthday party. Got to hear my cousin
jackthemusician's acapella group, Casual Harmony. They sang "Jesse's Girl," which made me utterly happy, because I had just heard that 2 days before while walking around Tomorrowland at Disney! Squeeeeee!

Sorry,
vampcurse, that I did not get to see the Kingston Faire. I really wanted to go, but I was just down and out for the count. Luckily it got me out of spending inordinate amounts of time at my mother-in-law's yesterday.
-
I'm feeling much better now, but I had one of those wonky sick dreams early Sunday morning. I dreamt I was supposed to be rehearsing for the faire but I was sick in my dream, and my lips were chapped and my mouth was dry and my throat hurt, and I kept trying to drink water to help myself but nothing worked. Gah, it makes me want to drink some water now.
- Have started my lifestyle change in earnest now. No more dairy, no more sugar, no more white flour products. No more trans-fats. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Hey, did I mention all the walking in Disney plus being sick made me lose 7 lbs? Woot!
