I’m glad my parents made it up to see my early scenes, however, they left before my absolute high point of the season: actually making it to the final round in the archery tournament! I genuinely had a heart attack when I heard Stompy exclaim that I had made it to the final round; how fitting that it was on the very last day! I was shaking too much to win the contest, and how could I with Chant up against me, that man is just an expert archer. It was much better that I went for the joke instead of the win. Thanks to my cheering section for getting me to run up and stab the target with my last arrow...it got such a huge reaction. I had actually wondered if that would work all season, and it did!
It was such an up way to close out my year. I needed that, because I didn’t want to leave faire and hate it. Now I can walk away with fond memories, and a bigger determination not to come back in an acting capacity. Of course, I reserve the right to take that back if my life does not take the route I wish it to take.
PS My sister Kelly gave me the best rose message EVAR. 1+2+2+1.
