Adoptable Kittens!

These are two female kittens that I've been fostering for Purrfect Pals and they will be available for adoption this Saturday from PetsMart in Everett starting at 11 AM. Other kittens will be available but since I'm fostering these two, I'm pimping them.

They came to me as semi-feral so I can socialize them. Two of the kittens in the litter were the main antagonizers who were growlers/hissers and were feeding off of each other. I took of the of mean ones (Grant-ess the orange kitten) and one of the nice ones (Claire the torbi kitten). There was a dramatic improvement once the antagonizers were separated with Grant-ess calming down and being receptive to being petted.

Three weeks later, Grant-ess is quite social, playful, and loving. Claire is also playful and loving and her favorite game is playing Fetch - and she brings the toy back too! They have been getting along great with a younger set of foster kittens. Grant-ess may still hiss if scared or nervous, but she won't swat or bite. It's just her way of saying "Give me space!"

Grant-ess was miss-identified as male and named "Grant". Once I discovered the error, I've started calling her Grant-ess.

These two ladies will do great together if someone is looking to adopt two kittens but will also be fine being adopted separately.

The adoption fee for each is $100 to Purrfect Pals. The shelter puts in at least $300 per animal so it's quite a savings. Plus any vaccines that may be due will be administered for free by visiting the shelter.

If you're really interested in one or both of them, let me know and I'll tell you what you need to do to get pre-approved to adopt them and we'll hold them until 12 noon on Saturday for you to pick them up.
