I love being lazy.
I like my job (most of the time... used to love it, but I've complained enough about that) but it's very nice to just lounge around at home with my kitten and my husband.
Anyway... I'm not too keen on going back to work just yet. I've found out in the last few days that Aurors don't have the best sense of humor.
A few days ago we got a copy of an owl that Draco Malfoy wrote to his father. The people that screen the Azkaban owls thought we ought to have a look at it cos it had an interesting line in it that read: "Mother had tea with a certain one of her relatives last week. The pregnancy is going well."
Bloody.hell.
Kingsley started it all, as ONE joke, cos since everyone knows I'm pregnant and related to the Malfoys (ugh. Ta, Mum.) he was all: "Oi, Tonks! How's your Auntie Malfoy?" 'Course, we all had a good laugh, then they started making jokes about whether she wasn't too angry with me for putting my uncle in jail, and I even laughed a bit at that those. But they couldn't stop there. That was Wednesday (? I dunno, I lose track of days easily), and for the rest of the week, someone STILL asked how the Malfoys were. S'NOT FUNNY ANYMORE! I swear, if anyone says that to me on Monday I'll hex them into oblivion, cos it's enough that I KNOW I'm related to them, and that I hate it. I KNOW! I don't need to be reminded every bloody day!
