Alan Eduardovich Gagloyev (Ossetian: Гаглойты Эдуарды фырт Алан, romanized: Gaglojty Edwardy fyrt Alan; Russian: Алан Эдуардович Гаглоев; born 6 February 1981) is a South Ossetian politician and intelligence officer.[1] He was the 5th president of South Ossetia from May 24, 2022 until his resignation on June 23, 2026.[2][3] He was the chairman of the Nykhaz party from 2020 to 2023.[4] He currently works as an Aide to Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia.
