Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Italian pronunciation: [anˈdrɛ.a ˈki.mi an.toˈnɛl.li]; born 25 August 2006 in Bologna) is an Italian racing driver, who has been competing in the FIA Formula One World Championship for Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team since 2025,[1] currently 1st in the Drivers Championship with 100 points,[2] having taken his maiden win at the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix (with Mercedes).[3] He is the son of racing driver Marco Antonelli.[4] He replaced Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes in 2025 after the 7-time World Champion left for Scuderia Ferrari HP after 11 years with the Anglo-German team.[5]
