i think that's what I was experiencing, it did feel like i woke up from a dream after it was over. took me a little bit to get over it but I'm okay. I would say it is real.

I definitely have a strange relationship with some dreams, some are especially vivid. So sometimes I feel like they did happen, and that's a bit confusing xD

Personally I had a... Strange experience with the game. I was already having a dissociative episode when I started playing the game not realizing how it was and it was a bit difficult for me. Definitely didn't help. Still enjoyed the game in a way.

But then it wasn't caused by the game right? More like complimented in a messed up way I guess.

I think those warnings especially apply to people who are experiencing these or similar things in their lives already. Because this game is all about nothing being real, there are people who this will trigger in one way or another, maybe not even in a bad way.

I also played this while not feeling the best, and it definitively didn't help my situation, but it didn't exactly made it worse either. It's really hard to explain ^^;;

Sorry to necro a thread, I just finally was able to pick the game up myself recently:

I had to stop playing in the Red Paint section because I was starting to feel myself check out in a bad way.
So yes, the warning is real and is for those of us who have dissociative disorders. I'm extremely grateful the warning was there.

Oh. Well it is nice to have some closure after all these years.

Watched someone play this after experiencing massive trauma. It did in fact send me into a panic attack.
