The devs seem to have disappeared awhile back. I have no idea what they are up to now, or if Pillow Castle is still a company, or has the same devs.

The workshop has died down since its release, but is 'active' in the sense that there is an achievement for uploading a map to the workshop, so is flooded with no-effort or default maps just for that. The workshop does have a lot of great already created maps to play, though. You are unable to play workshop maps in multiplayer, however.

I released a bundle of maps last year, and I was recently considering coming back to finish the standalone level I have 80% finished...
