Projects
York Centre for Print
The York Centre for Print is building a community and creating opportunities for dedicated creatives and curious minds alike. Our exhibitions and activities secure the future of traditional printing techniques, not just preserving the past but bringing it to life.
The Willow Community Project
The Willow Community Project developed approaches to reconnecting and recording communities that have built up around music venues over time – focusing on the Willow (1973–2015) York’s much loved Cantonese restaurant-cum-disco – and is developing workshops for schools that celebrate local history, creativity and community.
The Common Room
Step into The Common Room to bring history alive and help shape York’s future. Get involved in proposed developments and policies for the city by using our Feedback Zones.
Jewish Neighbourhoods
The Jewish Neighbourhoods project seeks to tell a new story about York’s medieval Jewish community, one which dispels myths and challenges preconceptions.
