Discover new automations for your smart home with automation suggestions. Choose from a list of suggested automations in your Google Home app, then follow a few quick steps to customize and save them to your smart home.
You can access automation suggestions on your Google Home app’s Automations tab. To learn more about automations, refer to Manage smart home automations in Google Home.
Check availability
The automation suggestions feature is available to all Google Home app users on iOS and Android devices. The feature is fully integrated into the global and localized Google Home ecosystem, meaning it is accessible anywhere Google Home automations are supported.
Manage your automation suggestions
You can save or edit suggested automations through the automation editor.
To get started:
- Open the Google Home app

- Tap Automations
.
- Scroll, then tap on a suggestion.
- Review the automation and edit any starter, condition, or action.
- Tap Save.
To dismiss a suggestion that you don’t want, tap and hold on a suggestion, and tap Dismiss this suggestion.

To give feedback on the automation suggestion that you tapped, tap the Menu
