Step 1: Ensure your domain meets our policy standards

We want to ensure that nonprofits are using Google Workspace for their organization’s primary mission and activities. If the relationship between your organization’s stated mission and the domain you want to use for Google Workspace for Nonprofits is unclear, you must provide more information about your nonprofit on your domain.

The review process checks for compliance across all these areas. Carefully review your site against all the points below.

  • Functional website: Your organization's website must be fully functional. Ensure your provided domain loads correctly and doesn't contain primarily placeholder content (e.g., "Coming Soon" or "Under Construction" pages).
  • Relationship to your organization: Your organization's website must represent a clear relationship between your registered nonprofit and the submitted domain. Your website should clearly match your organization's name, recognized acronym, or official branding.
  • Transparency & content: Your official website must include the organization details submitted during registration. Please ensure your site explicitly displays details such as: your Charity ID, a physical street address, and/or a clear mission statement describing your programs or services.
