Do not add me to your friends unless you know me.
This is not the way to "get to know me". You know me beforehand, then I add you. By know me I mean more than "I passed you in the hall", "you responded to my one post in x community", "I see your name a lot", or something along those lines. Don't add me because you "like my art"; look at my website for that! :) I add my friends and I like to keep my life semi-private in that sense.
