Zuzanna Stamirowska

Zuzanna Stamirowska is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Pathway, the AI lab building the architecture and models to unlock the next stage of AI by directly changing its foundations. Zuzanna was named one of “100 geniuses who will change the world” by Le Point. She holds a PhD in complex systems and has published research on emergent behavior in dynamic networks. Her work has been featured in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. As CEO, Stamirowska leads Pathway with a systems-thinking approach, drawing on her background in algorithmic game theory and interdisciplinary modeling. Under her leadership, Pathway has built AI architectures and models that autonomously and continually reason, learn, and evolve. The paper introducing its BDH architecture was among 2025’s most popular papers and The Wall Street Journal predicts that Pathway, along with Yann LeCun, Fei-Fei Li, and Ilya Sutskever will expand AI beyond Language Models in 2026.
