Cassandra Pattinson

I received my PhD from QUT, Brisbane in 2017. My thesis examined the effects of environmental light and sleep on child health, specifically weight status. After graduating I received further research training as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health. There I examined the proteomic and genomic changes following traumatic brain injury and the effects of sleep on recovery. I am now working at UQ as a Senior Research Fellow looking at sleep and health across the lifespan, with a specific focus on children's sleep and circadian health
