Jack
Jack grinned and toasted his glass with Lemoine. He only had time to finish half the glass before Jez came into the kitchen. After a brief moment of speechlessness she seemed to get quite annoyed with the impromptu party that was taking place inside her beloved kitchen.
"I believe that is our cue to exit." Jack said to Lemoine, as Jez began to berate the party goers. "Hurry before she finishes!"
Jack grabbed Lemoine by the Earm and snuck out of the kitchen, but not before snagging a bottle of rum for the road.
Antigone
"Jez! What a pleasant surprise," Antigone exclaimed as she saw Jez enter the kitchen. "Now I know it appears as if I was drinking rum in your kitchen with a bunch of crazy people, but that's not what happened. In all actuality, I was merely eating a PB&J sandwich and drinking a small, very small glass of rum when these . . . scoundrels burst in here and began wreaking havoc in your kitchen."
Antigone set her empty rum glass in the sink and smiled at Jez. "As you can tell, I was nothing more then an innocent bystander, a victim of their chaos. Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to go get my beauty rest."
Antigone turned and sashayed out of the kitchen before Jez had a chance to place any blame on her.
Emmerson
"Y'know I had nothing to do with any of this," Emmerson pointed out to Jez. "I got here shortly after you did."
Samm
Feeling a bit sloshed, I moved to set my glass fown on the counter only to discover that someone had rudely moved the counter three inches to the left. The glass fell to the floor and broke into several pieces. After staring at the floor angrily for a few moments and knelt down on the other side of the counter to pick up the pieces. It was at that moment Jez walked in.
Not wanting to be caught holding the pieces to one of Jez's glasses and remained behind the counter while she began her tirade. I glanced over and saw that Talia was in a similar situation as myself, only she was crawling out the door unnoticed. I looked around hoping to find my own escape route, but all I saw was Jack and Lemoine sneaking out of the kitchen as well.
Whatever happened to the Captain going down with the ship? I thought as Jack grabbed a bottle of rum on his way out. Oh yeah, this is a kitchen, not a ship. Different set of rules.
Jez finished her schpeal, and Antigone gave what had to be the performance of her lifetime, complete with dramatic pauses and puppy dog eyes.
She is such a little liar! I though indignantly as Antigone proclaimed herself an innocent victim and palced all the blame on everyone else.
Seeing as how the kitchen was quickly emptying of people, I decided that I should make a hasty exit before I ended up beign the only one left. I smiled at Jez as I popped out from behind the counter and staggered toward the door.
"Quite the party they had going on in here," I commented as I moved past Jez and out the door. "Oh, and I'd be careful if I were you. Some idiot broke a glass and left the pieces on the floor. I nearly cut myself while I was down there, uh . . . tying my shoe. Good night!" I hurried out of the kitchen and ran in a drunken fashion all the way to the elevator.
"Hold the elevator!" I called out to Karina as I staggered across the lobby.
