PATTAYA, Thailand — On the evening of July 4th, 2026, the Pattaya City Tourism and Sports Office successfully organized the “Pattaya Go Skateboarding Day 2026” at the Jomtien Beach activity area, adjacent to the Pattaya City Police Station’s Dong Tan Curve branch in Chonburi province.
Mr. Kiattisak Sriwongchai, Pattaya City Clerk, assigned Mr. Wisitsak Wongwachart, Director of the Tourism Development Division, to lead the opening ceremony. He was joined by members of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization Council.

The event was to promote and develop the skills of skateboard athletes, while providing a platform for young people and the general public to express their creativity in a positive way. Organizers also hoped to inspire new enthusiasts and support Pattaya’s long-term vision of becoming a sustainable “Sport City.”
Competitions featured a variety of exciting categories, including High Ollies, Kickflip Long Ollies, Skate Jam, Ramp Jam, and Best Trick, with separate divisions for Amateur and Open levels. Skateboarders turned out in strong numbers, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere filled with the spirit of street sports culture.

The successful event marks another milestone in Pattaya’s efforts to develop sports tourism. It also serves as an important stepping stone for elevating Thai skateboarders to higher competitive levels in the future.
