PATTAYA, Thailand— A motorcycle collision in a Pattaya side street early Sunday morning left one Thai rider in critical condition and a foreign national from Uzbekistan with minor injuries.
The accident occurred at approximately 2:36 a.m. on July 12th, 2026, inside Soi Phratamnak 5. Rescue volunteers from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Pattaya Rescue Center rushed to the scene after receiving a report of the crash.

According to initial findings, a gray Honda ADV 160 motorcycle driven by an Uzbek man collided with a green Grand Prix 150 ridden by a Thai man. The Thai rider sustained severe injuries, while the Uzbek motorcyclist suffered only minor injuries.

Rescue personnel provided immediate first aid at the scene, including CPR to stabilize the Thai victim before transporting him urgently to a local hospital. The Uzbek rider received treatment for his minor wounds.
Witnesses told rescuers that the Uzbek motorcyclist was traveling straight toward the mouth of the soi, while the Thai rider was making a turn, resulting in the collision.
Police from Pattaya City Station have been asked to review nearby CCTV footage to determine the exact cause and fault in the accident. Further investigation is ongoing.
