Police in Patong have detained a foreign man after repeated reports of disruptive behavior in public, with witnesses describing him as appearing intoxicated and lacking self‑control.
The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that at approximately 11:10 a.m.,they responded to complaints near a tour booth on Thaweewong Road. The man, whose name and nationality remain unknown, was taken into custody after allegedly consuming alcohol or other intoxicants to the point of losing self‑awareness and causing a disturbance in a public area.
Authorities charged him with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He was escorted to Patong Police Station and handed over to investigators for legal proceedings.
