Just quickie to thank everyone who commented on my last post. My initial reaction was to put Vaseline on to protect the skin, help it heal and to provide a 'taste' that would make him aware he's doing it so it was nice to hear that others have addressed this issue with similar methods :) Dh wasn't sure of my thinking at first but he's now come round and after only one night and one day of Vaseline, ds's skin is already looking better.
