Anne Frank was the most famous victim of the Westerbork Concentration Camp. Seeing her image reminds us of the atrocities that took place in this horrific period in world history.

The concentration camp money(scrip) shown above was used by inmates and had no convertibility outside the camp. This had the effect of denying escapees from having any spend able money.

Concentration camp money was issued by most camps and more than 100 different issues have been reported, with those of Theriesenstadt and Lodz being the most elaborate and beautiful issues.
