i played this back in 2014 and it might be silly to say but quite frankly its still one of my favorite games ever. to me the eye searing art is absolutely gorgeous, and the atmosphere is incredible. thanks for making such lovely work :^)

Thanks for saying hi! Glad to know this game had an impact. Releasing a game often feels like it disappears into the void... so it's nice to hear back.

Dang, it's apparently incompatible with Android 16. Will the game ever get updated for compatibility? I can't play it currently.

The Android version will probably never be updated. You can play on Windows if that's an option for you. Sorry!

No prob; I know it's a lot to ask. Just checking!

Hey! this is really annoying to setup but if you really wanna play this on android nowadays you can bypass the compatibility error messages by using the apps Shizuku + Install with Options.

Get them from GitHub, then setup and run Shizuku(you have to enable developer options, and turn on wireless debugging and there you pair with Shizuku), then download and setup "Install with Options" and toggle the low target SDK check, then select the game's .apk and it should install just fine, the game runs perfectly and this works for Void Pyramid too!

Thanks for sharing this!

This game is one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had. It's just so unique and nutty. I've finished this a few times over the years since I found it on Android a long time ago and I think about it a lot. Thank you for sharing it. These days it's on Portmaster so you can even play it on little handheld devices!

Thanks for playing!

Who did the music?

A producer duo by the name of Skyrunnerz. I met them IRL. I don't think they have an online presence at this point.

They gave me a bunch of old tracks they made, and I edited, layered, and arranged them.

I haven't yet found a game that captures this sort of primal alien vibe as Ramble Planet! I got lost in this game for a good week back in 2016 or so. One of my personal favorites.

Very late to this but you’re a genius. Basically what I like about exploring in games stripped down to its core. Loved it. And you’re making ChoiceBeat now too? That’s sick. Thank you for what you do.

Thanks for saying hi! Nice to hear some encouragement!

Hi, Andi. Are you open to commissioned artwork? Such as a pack of Sci-Fi Rumble Planet-inspired black and white sprites (non-animated, only 1 frame) for my RPG game?

Hi! Thanks for your offer, but I am not interested at this time. I've got too many projects going on already! =)

I said in my review, but this is easily one of my most memorable games of all time. I love replaying it every so often.

I played this on an Android phone X years ago and loved how unusual it was. They don't make them like this anymore indeed!

Well, I think it's a classic.

Lucidly imagined and dense with secrets. I really enjoy your games' design philosophy

I rambled this planet as hard as I could, but was still shy 9 or so parts. Still, used my nukes to become a warlord and things turned out pretty nice. This a game for serious ramblers, bumping into things fifteen times sometimes to yield a part lol. In other games I'd be frustrated, but the world is so colorful, interesting and compelling it's all good.

Yes! I'm surprised þis wasn't on here earlier.
