Penrith Stadium

Redevelopment/Construction

Penrith Stadium is home of ground of NRL side Penrith Panthers, located on Mulgoa Road in Penrith. The stadium is owned by Penrith City Council and has a capacity of 22,500, with seating for 8,000 in two grandstands.

From a spectator's view, it is an excellent ground to watch rugby league, rugby union or soccer - all of which are played there - because you are never too far away. There are excellent corporate and media facilities. Lighting is up to broadcast standard. It is the home ground of the Penrith Panthers NRL side. A temporary video screen is used at all NRL games at the venue. Penrith Stadium was last redeveloped in 2006 with major improvements to the main grandstand. The venue also plays host to NSW Premier League Grand Finals and hosted games in the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.

Previous names of the venue include Penrith Stadium, Centrebet Stadium, Sportingbet Stadium, Pepper Stadium, and most recently, Credit Union Australia Stadium. In 2018, the name of the stadium changed once again, this time to Panthers Stadium. As of March 2021, the venue has a new commercial name of BlueBet, for at least the next 2 years.

A major redevelopment of Penrith Stadium commenced following the 2024 NRL season, boosting capacity to 25,000. The new venue will be known as Helloworld Stadium.
