Every year, the UFV Alumni Association (UFVAA) welcomes 2,000 new graduates. Whether you graduated from Fraser Valley College, University College of the Fraser Valley, or UFV, you are a member of the UFVAA. Congratulations to UFV alum Ania Bula on receiving the Undergraduate Research Excellence Award. A 2023 Agriculture Technology diploma graduate, Ania is continuing her studies at UFV while working as a Research Assistant in the In-Vitro Biology Lab. Her research examines how agricultural pesticides affect the health, growth, and immune response of aquatic species, contributing to a better understanding of their environmental impacts. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, Ania. We look forward to sharing more of your alumni story soon.

UFV alumnus Mike Hofer, BA ’98, is bringing environmental innovation to the Fraser Valley. In partnership with Shxwhá Village, Mike helped bring North America’s first mobile, modular soil-washing facility to Chilliwack, turning contaminated soil into reusable resources and supporting a more circular economy.
