I know I have a few fics I need to finish, but I saw this and it bunnied me, but I'm not entirely sure if I want to bite off more than I can chew. So, I'm turning it into a challenge.

Insanity leads to chaos,

I need to seriously stop mustanging my search for a job. Dad keeps rizaing me. I'm sure eventually I'll be killed.

"Bluebird's Illusion" is up to 380 HKD (about $48.90). T_T Now it's getting closer to a games price here. *cries* And there's still 5 days and 11 hours left with out the option to instantly buy the game. Hmph.

Anywho, it's Thursday. I don't know what this means for anyone.

Only 33 more days until I register for classes at the University. My majors, for anyone who cares, are Asian Studies and Japanese. I think I'm going to tack on what's called and International Minor. Basically, that can get me a better chance at getting a job as translator or ambassador or that travels overseas a bunch. Oh yeah, I'm also geting a teaching certificate.

Fareway is going to hire me, I think. Just yesterday I got a phone call saying that they want to see two forms of identification. I don't know, though. This is my first job. I'll be working in the meat department.

If anyone goes on a bike ride, I recommend the Iowa River Corridor trail. It's very smooth, pretty flat, and six miles long. It runs along the Iowa River and goes through City Park. Roy pointed out this one address sign. It said 816 Park. Now, if you glance at it quickly, you can easily mistake the 8 for a B, the 1 for an I, and the 6 for a G. And so the sign reads BIG Park. City Park is a big park. The largest in the city.

Edit: In other news, GUESS WHO GOT A JOB!!!!

That's right! Me! I start working at the Westside Fareway grocery store tomorrow. I'm going to get paid $8.50 an hour! Ha! Now Dad can't riza me anymore!

Oh wow.

Just one more week. I hope s/he speaks English. Otherwise, we'll have a hard time communicating...

And it's only at 220 HKD. That's like, $30.30! That's less than our games sell for. *grumbles about the good games costing fifty-freaking-dolars*

Of course, it might also help if I can read simplifies/traditional Chinese... Mental note: Ask Roy about acting as my translator for this little experience.

I also hope that someone doesn't just make off with the money. I'm sending cold, hard cash because I don't have any bank accounts on mainland China...

I'm sure some, if not all, of you are confused. "What is she ranting about now?" I can just see running through your minds. Well, my most recent obsession with the FMA-verse: "Illusion of a Bluebird" (aka "Bluebird's Illusion"). The Chinese student made fan game. It's kinda like a doujinshi game. It looks totally cool! I could spend two hours here, typing and ranting on about it, or I could direct you all to the lj community blubrdsillusion. Go there. You will find screencaps, guides, the opening, the opening song, a link to the official site, and much more! "Bluebird's Illusion" is difficult to find because it's not being made anymore. *cries*

So anyway, getting back to the stuff at the top, someone is auctioning off a copy of the game on a Yahoo!HK auction. And I have about six days and one hour before the end of the auction. I'm going to wait until the very end to bid and hope I get it. *crosses fingers*
