Tada guys, I'm off to make love with nature this weekend, completely rolling myself in all its smoggy filthiness. I'm hoping for the best, it's a camping trip with my family, nuff said. The weather's looking fine here, but since I don't remember ever having an Ontario camping trip that didn't involve scrambling for cover under tarps and surveying the wreckage the next morning, so it's most likely gonna rain this weekend.
Not excited at all, I don't want to get wet. :/
And congrats to all the UHS guys!! we're done, bitttches, there's so many great memories you guys left me with, appreciate it very very much <3

A glimpse at what art students really do in class.
Today we,
drew unicorns and rainbows in sand and...
indecently straitjacketed eirene to a chair.
We get a kick out of this, I swear.

A surprise email from the university of Western:
"Congratulations. I am writing to let you know that you have been admitted to the University of Western Ontario for studies commencing in September 2006!"
WHOO!! I never applied to western!
[edit: please don't congratualate me. It has to be a farce.]

Just temporarily, just for the month of May, I've put aside my academic career for projects with more substantial (immediate) results. Its almost like I'm testing out what a future in the skills trade would be like-- painless to the brain but hard on every other part of the body.
Long story short, my consolation is that electricity will be my best friend for 70% of these projects, why use my own two hands when i can plug in. Sewing machines, electronic drills, computers, this entry is dedicated to you. Long live the industrial revolution.
There's lots of long nights ahead, I think i'll need to consider investing in a Tim Hortons IV tube, to inject some heavy-duty caffeine for instant exhilaration.
I'm a little insane right now, excuse me.

The gr 12 visual arts gang are having their art show at the Mckay Gallery Thursday evening 6pm-7:30 pm.
You can have refreshments if you come. That's an incentive. (And obviously, that's directed for the people who go join spanish club for one meeting to make tacos)

"Wait, so Lucia's parents are out for the weekend, the rest of us have no curfew... and we're choosing to skip rope??"
And yet another evening where normal household items become entertaining and my basement was trashed. No alcohol involved.
