I really want to see The Mist. Mainly because I keep hearing about this shocker of an ending, and I don't want to have it spoiled for me before I have a chance to see it. That and the original Stephen King story was cited as an influence for Silent Hill. The connection is obvious in the trailer. When the sirens go off and the fog rolls in...and some freaky religious woman wants to sacrifice a child. And there's Laurie Holden kicking ass. O rly? I also want to see this, but it's not released until the end of January. It's got to come to Austin. Right now I'm mostly excited about I Am Legend. I just picked up a copy of the book, and I'm gonna finish it before 12/14. I swear! |

A couple of months back I got to shake hands with Henry Rollins. I think I blacked out for a second when it happened because I was so overwhelmed with gratitude to have been given a moment by someone who has been such an inspiration to me. Yesterday I found these videos on YouTube, and watching/hearing Henry tell the story of his best friend's murder (I've read his diary entries about it, but this is something else altogether) just a few months after it happened, moved/s me to tears.
