Next installment for Mica's fic!

...I've been rediculously busy. So freakin' sick of 50 hour work weeks.

Anyway, as promised, I'm FINALLY posting the fic micaturtle had requested. Actually, it'll be a multi-parter, since I can't seem to put aside enough time to work on anything very lengthy. I think I promised something like 1000 words? I hope you like it Mica. I know it's not my absolute best, but I did as well as I can given the insane conditions I get to work under.

- Started and continued chiropractic care

- rejoiced when migraines and other headaches decreased in both severity and frequency

- same with asthma attacks

- suffered pretty badly through retraining muscles into keeping my scoliosis straighter

- helped my sister move into a really cool house that was built in 1909

- watched all sortsa ghostie stuff

- attracted poltrigeist activity (which I need to take care of)

- met up with a friend who I hadn't seen in over 10 years

- broke up a domestic dispute

...ummm....and outside of a rediculous amount of work-to-pay-bills, that's about it.

Why does it feel like I've done so much more than that?? Worn out, man...

Just woefully behind on internet thingers. I'll eventually get around to that meme I'd posted, and I'm still working on that fic for Mica.

Writing just hasn't been coming along particularly well for me lately. *facepalms*

I actually like this version much more than the original for some reason..

I'm feeling mostly normal for the first time in...quite a while, actually.

Been getting migraines for the past few weeks here, and found out yesterday that the medication that the doctor gave me samples of apparently doesn't work for me after two doses.

Oh, and it gives me mild chest-pains, too. That's fun! It's a listed side effect, and they're just...here and gone again. Still unnerving, but hell.

SO, since the girls at work had already cancelled one happy hour because of my wonky head, I didn't want them to cancel a second. Suffered through a full day's work, two hours of mariachi music (dear Gods WHY did it have to be a Mexican place??), and then about an hour long bus ride full of screaming children and ghetto fabulous adults who only have one volume - LOUD.

I finally get home, and...Jon's music is blaring. Yeah, he got the new amps that he'd been fighting with the company about.

Yeah, I basically just dropped my bag off inside, went to our porch and curled up into a little ball of misery. By the time he finally turned it down, I was in tears. Suuuuuuck...

I could finally go in the house at least, made sure there'd be no drug interractions, and took a vicodin. While it did nothing for the neuro-side effects (weird vision/weird sound/tingling/numbness...well, y'know...migraine), it knocked me right out, which is what I desperately wanted at that point.

I woke up this morning still feeling like crap...walked to the bus stop and watched said bus roll right on by as soon as I got there. Trudged back, negotiated a ride, and endured until the symptoms finally started clearing a little over half of the day through.

I'm still getting little shots of pain here and there, and a little bit of tingliness, but hey...my appetite is back (I couldn't stomach anything more than like...a bagle, coffee, tea, and a banana all day today, and pretty much the same all day yesterday). I'm finally feeling clear headed, and I'm seeing things as normally as I usually do.

Tomorrow is the eye-appointment. If it is my eyes that are triggering these monsters, and that are causing the weird TV-fuzz (I talk about it in the health journal I'd linked to in my last entry), I'll be grateful.

If it's not? Well, then. Back to the drawing board.

Gyah hah...check please.

Had my entire lower jaw numbed up today to take care of a couple of small cavities, and wouldn't you know it, as soon as I walked out of the dentist's office, a guy started hitting on me.

I commented that really, I'm not high or anything, but that I was still numbed up from the dentist's. He replied, "Really? I thought you were from Spain because of your accent."

Hehe...that accent vanished within around 30 to 40 minutes, since that stuff wears off insanely quickly for me.

Man, that just cracked me right up.

I'm a big supporter of Doctors Without Borders, but those links have ways to donate to many other very good organizations. I'll be making some small donations myself this weekend, but I can't give more until I find out how much of the grand and a half plus my surgery is coming out of pocket.

My thoughts are with everyone effected by the disaster(s) and their aftermaths. I'll be doing a ritual (another rarity...my own version of prayer) to send positivity and hope eastwards this weekend at some point as well. Please comment and let me know if you'd like to do some distance prayer/ritual with me so we can arrange a time to send the energy together.

It may not be much, but it's really just about all most of us can do from a distance.

...uh, and the surgery? I'm getting the other two wisdom teeth out next week. It'll be somewhat...complicated, and unpleasant. If anyone's interested in reading about just how bad the damn things are, comment, and I'll make an entry. >_> It just seems very trivial in the grand scheme of things.
