You know the drill--the first sentence of the first entry of each month of the year, if you've got them for each month.
January: I know....I'm a bad person. But I'm kind of gravitating away from livejournal, I guess....I still love you all!!!! *sends hugs to everyone.* [Yet another lazy,non-writing period--I was very absorbed in David at that point]
February: Yeah...the next several months are not going to be easy. At all.
[referring to David's departure to Virginia for the helicopter mechanic school.
March: I haven't been as good at keeping up with the folks on livejournal as I promised I'd be, and I do feel bad about that--but life is crazy. [This was shortly after I found out that instead of Spring 2011, the deployment was to start in November of this year]
April: First of all, I'm sorry I haven't really been responding to posts lately.... [In this entry, the big news was that I was tattooed.]
May: My "year in review" is really not going to be all that interesting come December 31st....but whatever. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. [The news in this one was that I wasn't going to move to St. Cloud after all, AND that I had the color in my tattoo]
June: Ahhh....what's that sound? My savings account being filled with money? [I had just begun enforcing my policy of putting aside 100 dollars per month.]
July: [No entry]
August: [No entry]
September: I can't believe I waited this long to post....*facepalm* I used to post pretty religiously, but I've been so busy....Blah blah blah. Basically, I'm lazy. [We all know that at this point, real trouble had gone past brewing in my relationship with David, and was at a good, steady boil]
October: Do I miss the good times like crazy? Yes.
November: But Nanowrimo is taking up my writing abilities, chewing them up, and spitting them out again.
December: I've been in a funk since last Saturday, what with David's going-away ceremony, and seeing him, and crying like a fucking baby as I hugged him goodbye.
Clearly, this was the year of me being absorbed in a guy who wasn't good for me AND in dealing with stupid drama.
I have a few apologies to make:

( Read more...Collapse )An interesting bit of news:
I'm interested in TWO different guys. One's name is Brian, and I already know him from a group of kinky internet friends. The other one is one of the car repair men at the dealership I go to in Buffalo--his name is Adam. GodDAMN....That Adam guy kind of makes me want to invent reasons to go to the dealership just to flirt. He's SUCH a hottie. My mom seems to think HE'S the one flirting with ME, and that he started it....but I just got my oil changed (he gave me extra stuff he wasn't supposed to again. :)), so it will be quite a while before I have a reason to go back to the dealership.
....Maybe I just need to march on over to the house across the street (where my friend/neighbor/the boss at the dealership lives) and tell him he needs to give his technician my phone number.....
