Top 10 Salesforce Podcasts You Should Listen to

The Salesforce platform, ecosystem, and market are changing, and it can be difficult to keep up with the constant flurry of new information. Luckily, blog posts, videos, and your favorite Trailblazers on social media can help you stay up to date, but what can you rely on for the longer, heavy-hitting discussions?

Well, in my opinion, that’s where podcasts come in. They’re the perfect avenue for exploring more in-depth topics and allow content creators to be critical, investigative, and more creative. In the ecosystem, there’s no shortage of podcasts to tap into, so let’s cover some of the top ones now (in no particular order). 

1. SF Ben Insider

Call us self-promotional, but it would be a crime not to mention the new podcast we launched last month. 

Aimed at bringing you all the latest Salesforce news, trends, and completely unfiltered discussions, this podcast will be a melting pot of all the great content produced across all of our platforms. However, don’t be fooled; a lot of the content will be strictly exclusive, including some never-heard-before conversations and insights you really don’t want to miss!

2. DevOps Diaries

Perhaps one of the most well-known podcasts in the ecosystem is DevOps Diaries. Powered by Gearset and hosted by the enthusiastic Jack McCurdy, this podcast focuses on the insights of the Salesforce community and their experiences in the ecosystem. 

Expect to hear all about personal growth and business success whilst discovering all the trials, tribulations, and joys that come with delivering Salesforce for companies of all shapes and sizes.

3. Be More (With Tom Bassett)

If you’ve been in the ecosystem for a little while and have yet to come across Tom Bassett, then honestly, have you been living under a rock? 

All jokes aside, Tom’s Be More podcast focuses on connecting with Trailblazers from the ecosystem and beyond to inspire those wanting to seek a new career path or those wanting to firm up their current career plans and become an expert in their field. 

You can expect career guidance, some great pep talks, and in-depth explorations of some of the biggest topics in Salesforce.

4. SalesforceWay

The SalesforceWay podcast is hosted by Xi Xiao, a Salesforce developer based in Finland. He believes that a good Salesforce developer is armed with the “3S” skills – Salesforce technology skills, software engineer skills, and soft skills. The podcast episodes lead with technical topics (e.g. DML Mocking for Apex Test) but delve beyond the technology into the soft skills that made the interviewee’s careers possible.

5. Salesforce Posse

Salesforce Posse is a podcast led by the popular Francis Pindar and Anup Jadhav, exploring a wide range of topics in the ecosystem including implementations, unsung heroes, and Francis’s experiences at London’s Calling.

6. Good Day, Sir!

If you’re after a Salesforce podcast that explores Salesforce technical topics in an easy-to-digest way, then you’ll love Good Day, Sir! By Jeremy Ross and John De Santiago. As someone who isn’t amazingly well-versed in the technical aspects of Salesforce, this podcast’s combination of casual and entertaining info was a treat to listen to!

7. Mums on Cloud Nine

Now, if you’re a bit of a binge-watcher (or should I say binge-listener), then you’ll be pleased to know that the Mums on Cloud Nine podcast currently has six seasons for you to enjoy!

Hosted by Heather Black, the founder of Supermums, this podcast centers around Heather’s discussions with women who are excelling in careers and motherhood, and others who have something indispensable to share with Trailblazer mums.

8. CloudFocus Weekly

I would always personally advocate for this podcast to be on the list, despite its discontinuation. Mainly because there are over 300 episodes to get stuck into, and that’s a pretty impressive feat!

The CloudFocus Weekly podcast is a brilliant archival collection led by Justin Edelstein and Jason Atwood, covering a mixture of the latest cloud computing news, happenings, and events – with a few ‘debates’ thrown into the mix.

9. Ask More of AI

Salesforce themselves have a number of different podcasts to choose from, but one that I feel is both super interesting and super relevant is the Ask More of AI podcast.

It’s led by Clara Shih, the CEO of Salesforce AI, and covers some of her top, high-quality discussions with brightest minds in AI to explore the ways it’s transforming business. Definitely give this one a listen if you’d love to learn more about AI!

10. Talent Hub Talk Podcast

And last but certainly not least on this list is the very well-known and well-loved Talent Hub Talk Podcast.
