Utapau

Pau'ans are tall humanoids from Utapau with an intimidating appearance, including jagged teeth, nails, and lined skin. The Pau’ans shared Utapau with their smaller neighbors, the Utai, as well as with bands of Amani and Sugi. The Pau’ans ran Utapau’s government and dealt with outsiders visiting the planet. The Inquisitor, the Empire's Jedi hunter, was a Pau'an.

The Utai are short, pink-skinned humanoids with black eyes that share the planet Utapau with their larger neighbors, the Pau’ans, as well as with bands of Amani and Sugi. The Utai gladly left the business of running the planet and dealing with outsiders to the larger Pau’ans, apparently content with menial tasks ranging from animal husbandry to starship maintenance.

A legendary Jedi Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi was a noble man and gifted in the ways of the Force. He trained Anakin Skywalker, served as a general in the Republic Army during the Clone Wars, and guided Luke Skywalker as a mentor.

General Grievous was a brilliant Separatist military strategist and a feared Jedi hunter, known for his ruthlessness and hacking cough. His body itself was a weapon, allowing him lightning quick strikes and devastating blows. But he was also quick to run from a fight, a tactic that worked until one final meeting with Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Greeting Obi-Wan Kenobi during his search for General Grievous on windswept Utapau was Port Administrator Tion Medon. The tall, gaunt Utapaun initially feigned ignorance about Grievous' whereabouts, but then whispered a warning to Kenobi. Grievous was indeed on the planet, hiding on the tenth level of the sinkhole city with an army of thousands of battle droids.

When hunting for General Grievous on Utapau, Obi-Wan Kenobi went to the pens where Utapaun wranglers corralled native winged and wingless lizards for use as transports. He selected an obliging and brave lizard named Boga, with a leather saddle strapped to her swaying back. She stood four meters tall at the shoulder, and had a pebbled skin with an iridescent green and blue sheen. A crown of richly colored feathers fringed her head and neck, trailing away from her beaked face and keen eyes. Her powerful limbs ended in five-toed feet, tipped with curved claws providing excellent purchase on the sandstone surfaces. A long tail aided in balance and agility.
